Contact Lenses

At Greystones Eye Centre, we provide a full contact lens fitting and aftercare service. Existing or new contact lens wearers are advised to have a full eye examination & contact lens check up every 12 months, depending on your wearing modality and ocular history. We provide an extensive range of contact lens products to cater for the majority of prescription and lifestyle requirements, including daily, 2 weekly, monthly and rigid gas permeable/theraputic lenses. Although daily disposables are usually the lens of first choice from a convenience point of view (as no solutions are required), sometimes changing to a different type of lens is recommended to facilitate increased wearing times, reduced dryness or avoid corneal problems.

At Greystones Eye Centre, we are delighted to have been awarded ACE (Acuvue Centre of Excellence) status by Johnson & Johnson. This recognises the level of service we provide not only at your initial consultation, but also during your follow up aftercare visits. It allows us to provide our customers with the best contact lens products on the market, at an affordable cost. Johnson & Johnson provide an extensive range of contact lenses to cater for all wearing schedules and the majority of prescriptions, including astigmatism.

Greystones Eye Centre, in conjunction with Johnson & Johnson, are delighted to be able to offer all our contact lens patients (both new & exisiting) the chance to trial the fantastic new daily disposable Tru Eye.
